A little about the faces behind the Blush brand
Owner + Creative Director
Born in Seattle & raised outside of Salt Lake City, Jess Kasteler grew up in a creative environment & learned the beginnings of art, design, & HTML before graduating high school. She started her first design business at the young age of 20 while pursuing her college studies at Utah Valley University. She worked in the corporate world of administration & marketing before taking the leap toward building the Blush brand. Jess loves yoga, traveling the world, reading a good book, wandering the farmer’s market, hiking & exploring the outdoors, listening to new music, & keeping fresh flowers in the house at all times. She lives in a charming little house in the quiet town of Kaysville, Utah with her husband & their three year old son.

You could boil his life down to three things: Family, Books, Business. When he’s not spending time with his family, Brandon is typically either reading one of his 1,000+ books (of which ALL are non-fiction) or is researching businesses to start or invest in. By day, he’s an IT Project Manager and Technical Director for Blush. By night, he’s…the same (sorry, no cool batman-like backstory here).

Graphic Design + Hand-Lettering
Though she’s always had a knack for aesthetic and been driven by creativity, Harley has fairly recently taken the plunge into the full-time creative career world. In her college years at the University of Utah, Harley studied social work, then exercise science, then planned on going to PA school. After a dose of reality, a change in perspective, and some amazing training, she ended up at Blush as a designer and has never looked back. She also launched her calligraphy brand this year (Check it out over at Flora Calligraphy Co!) Aside from design, Harley’s faves include fresh flowers, Pilates, and baking – sugar cookies are her specialty!

Elise Curtis, raised primarily in Utah, has a knack for having her hand in lots of different pots. Aside from a photography and videography business, she spent 6 years in the corporate world planning events and traveling to exotic destinations. After she quit her job to be a stay at home mom, Blush became a part of her life and she has never looked back! She loves being able to interact with the clients of Blush and to help them get started on the right track on their branding and web design journey. Elise loves playing with her kids, drinking way too much Dr. Pepper, making Oreo shakes, and wishing that she could travel the world with her family.

Corbin built his first computer when he was 12 years old and ever since then, he has had a passion for all kinds of technology. Fascinated by the simple way that things function, he has always loved to take nothing and turn it into something, which is why he got involved in Web Development. He loves to play tennis, go on hikes, make Italian food, and go on road trips. He is currently studying to go to Medical school, with a long road ahead of him.
